For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (May 27 edition)

This weekend is Memorial Day weekend - get out there and enjoy it! While out there, check out a Louisville-area theatre show. This includes the lone new one of the week, Frozen (Not the Disney version, though.), and the six shows still going on around town. Check them all out before they close!

There were a ton of auditions in the past week, but there are a ton of auditions coming up in the next week. This includes a new one from Acting Against Cancer. Check them out, and get involved in the Louisville theatre scene!

For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (May 20 edition)

Four shows enter into the Louisville theatre fray this weekend, including two shows from Derby Dinner. The classic Arsenic and Old Lace and the children's show Pinkalicious: The Musical take place alongside another classic musical (As Yet Unnamed's Anything Goes) and an award-winning production (Looking for Lilith's Getting Out). 

That is on top of the nine shows already going on in the Louisville theatre scene. Keep in mind, though, that a lot of the shows will be ending this weekend. Check them all out before they close.

Don't forget about the incredible amount of auditions, including at least six in the next week. Plenty of chances to get into the Louisville theatre scene!

For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (May 13 edition)

Louisville theatre groups come roaring back to life following the Derby break. No fewer than 10 shows are opening in Louisville and surrounding areas this weekend. Everything from musicals to beach parties to murder mysteries to classic works to one off shows are set to take place this weekend. Check them out this weekend!

There is one continuing shows from Derby Dinner. Legally Blonde, however, ends this weekend. Check it out before it closes (tickets are nearly sold out for the rest of the run as of this posting.)

Finally, there are no fewer than 14 auditions taking place very soon, including some season auditions and a traveling show audition. If you ever wanted to get into community or professional theatre, this may be your chance!

For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (Derby Eve edition)

No new shows opening this weekend, and it may be for the best considering this is Derby weekend. There are, however, shows going on through this weekend. That includes the horse racing-related play Jockey Jim, the classic Driving Miss Daisy, and the modern musical Legally Blonde. Check them out!

While there are no shows opening this weekend, there are a ton of auditions coming up, including one tonight (Theatreworks). Smoked Apple has auditions coming up in the next week, and at least eight more auditions (including Pandora's season auditions) are coming up within the next month. Now is the perfect time to get involved in the Louisville theatre scene!
