For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (Sept. 4 edition)

This week, two theatre companies begin their seasons by looking for guitars and having random people in bare apartments. Actors Theatre opens with August Wilson's Seven Guitars, which follows a recently-out-of-prison man looking to reclaim his guitar and his girl. Meanwhile, The Liminal Playhouse's inaugural show Christmas on Mars showcases family and friends longing for love and a desire to be needed while living inside a bare apartment. Check both shows out starting this weekend!

Don't forget about the ongoing shows through Alley Theater and Derby Dinner. Takin' Over the Asylum (Alley Theater) ends this weekend while The Last (Potluck) Supper (Derby Dinner) only has a few weeks left. Both shows have been well-reviewed from what I have seen.

Finally, check out all the auditions below, including the newly posted one from Little Colonel Playhouse. Derby Dinner, meanwhile, has one going on this afternoon. Check them out if you're interested in community or professional theatre.
