For the weekend - Louisville and Southern Indiana theatre shows and auditions (Nov. 7, 2025 edition)

First of all, we are thinking about the victims and all others affected by the UPS plane crash earlier this week. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to each and every one of them. 

If there was ever a weekend to go see theatre in Kentuckiana, this may be the one! Shows are opening all over the region and of all types. For the weekend - Louisville and Southern Indiana theatre shows and auditions (Oct. 17, 2025 edition)

Starting on a personal note, I have learned in the last few days of the arrest of and actions taken by a prominent member of our Kentuckiana theatre community. Make no mistake about it, those actions are deplorable, disgusting and should not be tolerated in any way. My thoughts and prayers are with all who were affected by this, especially the victims. If you are or you know of someone going through an abusive situation, don't be afraid to speak out and seek help. 

This weekend, the Kentuckiana theatre scene will feature plenty of shows of many kinds. Everything from national touring productions to Halloween-appropriate to classic comedies and dramas to children's shows to murder mysteries to everything in between are taking place on a stage near year.
