For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (Aug. 26 edition)

Louisville is now ending its summer theatre season and transitioning into the fall. Before it does, though, check out some of the shows below. Plenty of opportunities to see great theatre (especially in southern Indiana) are located below.

As usual, don't forget about the auditions as well. Five of them will be taking place within the next few days. Get involved in the theatre scene with one of the shows listed.

For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (Aug. 19 edition)

This weekend features three classic comedies and musicals opening all over the area. Within Louisville, Acting Against Cancer has Legally Blonde. Southern Indiana, meanwhile, has Derby Dinner's The Hallelujah Girls, TheatreWorks bring Pump Boys and Dinettes, and JCCT opens Moon Over Buffalo. Check them out this weekend!

This weekend also features the continuation of three shows, including ones from Hayswood, Hardin County, and Alley Theater. The later two groups have shows ending this weekend. Enjoy them before they close!

Finally, don't forget to look at the all of the auditions that are coming up. No fewer than ten are on the list, including four coming up within the next week. Check them out, and get involved in the Louisville theatre scene.

For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (Aug. 12 edition)

Nerds and birdies will take over area stages this weekend. Hayswood Theatre presents the comedy The Nerd while Hardin County brings forth the musical Bye Bye Birdie. Say hello to both shows if you get the chance.

Three shows continue into the weekend, including two that will close at the end of it. Derby Dinner and Lou Rep have shows closing on Sunday while Alley Theater's shows goes on for just one more week. Check them out before it's too late!

For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (Aug. 5 edition)

This weekend features one new show, three continuing shows, and plenty of audition notices. Check out the mystery comedy Smoke and Mirrors from Louisville Repertory, which opens this weekend. Also, don't forget about the Alley Theater, Stephen Foster Productions, and Derby Dinner shows. The Stephen Foster one, The Wizard of Oz, is set to close this weekend. Check them all out before its too late!
